A Lazer helmet that shines for a good cause

Lazer launches the special Z1 KinetiCore Use Your Head edition. For every helmet sold, Lazer donates €10 to Plan International’s Bike for Future project, an initiative that uses bicycles to change the lives of thousands of young girls in Rwanda.

Use Your Head: More than a slogan, a commitment

Lazer has always encouraged cyclists to “use their head” by wearing a helmet. In 2025, the Belgian brand goes further: using your head also means thinking about what you can do for others.

It is in this spirit that the limited edition Z1 KinetiCore Use Your Head was born. With every purchase worldwide, €10 (or the equivalent in local currency) is directly donated to Plan International to support the Bike for Future project.

A discreet design by day, spectacular by night

The helmet features a sober and elegant matte black finish. An almost invisible brain pattern is integrated into the shell. By day, it goes unnoticed. By night, under car or bike headlights, it lights up and reveals a complete brain design at the back – a luminous nod to the slogan Use Your Head.

Bike for Future: Cycling for equality

Organized in Rwanda (host country of the 2025 Cycling World Championships), the Bike for Future project supports 3,600 young girls around four main objectives:

Empower young women through the unifying power of sport
Promote economic autonomy through vocational training
Break gender stereotypes with community support
Involve the private sector to create sustainable opportunities

The cyclists from the Picnic PostNL women’s team, who ride the streets every day, tested the helmet and support the cause. For them, cycling is joy, freedom, and above all, opportunities they want to see accessible to all young women.
