The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift has just been unveiled. The Grand Départ of the fifth edition will take place in Switzerland, with a first stage around Lausanne on Saturday, August 1st. The following day, a route designed between Aigle and Geneva will be offered to the riders, before a return to France. The first highlight will be the fourth stage individual time trial, between Gevrey-Chambertin and Dijon, over 21 km. But the fate of the race is very likely to be decided during the seventh stage, with a summit finish on Mont Ventoux. The final stage around Nice, with four ascents of the Col d’Eze, also promises to be spectacular. In total, the event will offer 1175 km and nearly 19,000 m of elevation gain for the riders.
