Record attendance and impeccable organization

With over 400 volunteers mobilized, the event shone with its meticulously planned organization. The formats offered – Lé-Man Full Distance, Half Distance, Olympic, and Sprint – attracted athletes of all levels, from novices (35% of registrants for their first triathlon) to seasoned competitors. The ideal weather, a peaceful Lake Geneva, and sublime landscapes between lake and mountains enhanced the experience.

Exceptional performances across all formats

Lé-Man Full Distance: a monumental challenge
Under a spectacular sunrise, the start of the Lé-Man Full Distance set the tone. In the men’s race, Belgian Joeri Ameye dominated in 10h01’25’’, impressing with his consistency on a demanding bike course: “It was very tough, but splendid,” he declared. In the women’s race, Frenchwoman Alice Gorry, in her first participation in this format, shone in 12h25’46’’, managing her effort brilliantly: “I knew the marathon could be a calvary, so I kept some reserves.”

Lé-Man Half Distance: a strategic race
The Half Distance, popular with 700 participants, offered an intense spectacle. Norman Pierre Gouault, a former professional cyclist, flew through the event in 4h33’58’’, using his cycling prowess to distance his rivals. The atmosphere at Évian’s nautical center was electric, fueled by an ecstatic crowd.

Olympic and Sprint formats: speed and emotions
On Sunday, the Olympic and Sprint formats brought together 2,280 athletes. Alban Bofelli made a strong impression by winning both the Half Distance in a relay and the Olympic individually (2h14’33’’). In the women’s race, Elise Vanhamme triumphed in 2h35’26’’ after a fierce battle. The Sprint, ideal for beginners, saw Vincent Steiger (Switzerland, 1h07’08’’) and Kathryn Griffin (United Kingdom, 1h19’46’’) emerge victorious. Among the novices, Lise Nicoud, Évian’s Deputy for Sport, completed her first triathlon in 1h48’22’’, embodying the event’s accessibility.

Breathtaking courses

The courses, combining swimming in Lake Geneva and cycling through the passes of Saxel, Ramaz, Corbier, Feu, or even the Panorama de Champeillant, amazed participants. “It’s the most beautiful triathlon I’ve ever done,” confided Pauline, a participant from Brittany, charmed by the region and the event as a close to her season.

The Palais Lumière, the vibrant heart of the event

The Palais Lumière shone all weekend, hosting bib collection, the bike park, the exhibitor village, and the finish area. During the European Heritage Days, this emblematic setting reinforced the event’s unique atmosphere.

A word from the director: a collective adventure

“This third edition was exceptional, driven by incredible fervor,” emphasized Benjamin Chandelier, director of the Évian Triathlon. “The ideal conditions, the atmosphere in front of the Palais Lumière, and the high-level performances motivate us to grow the event in 2026, while remaining true to its identity. A huge thank you to the City of Évian, our partners, and our 400 volunteers for their commitment.”

A highly anticipated 2026 edition
