2025 World Time Trial Championships: Course and Entrants

The 2025 World Championships begin this Sunday, September 21, in Kigali, Rwanda. This is the first time the races for the rainbow jerseys will take place on the African continent. The men’s and women’s time trials will kick off the event, covering 31 and 40 km, respectively, on hilly courses with 460 and 680 meters of elevation gain. In the women’s race, Anna van der Breggen, Demi Vollering, and Chloé Dygert are the top favorites, while in the men’s race, the title could come down to a battle between Tadej Pogacar and Remco Evenepoel. Find details on both courses and the list of entrants.
