2025 Québec Cycling Grand Prix: Map and Course Profile, Registered Riders, and TV Broadcast Schedule

The 14th edition of the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025. The race features a revamped course that is slightly shorter (12 km instead of 12.6 km) but includes two additional laps, for a total of 216 km and 2,610 m of elevation gain. The start and finish will take place on the iconic Plains of Abraham, a landmark of Quebec’s heritage. As is the case every year, this “new” course will inevitably favor a strong rider with a powerful sprint. Four-time Tour de France winner and current world champion Tadej Pogacar is on the starting line, as is defending champion Michael Matthews. Also on the starting line are Florian Lipowitz, who finished third in the 2025 Tour de France, and four Tour de France stage winners: Wout van Aert, Simon Yates, Tim Wellens, and Jonas Abrahamsen. With one year to go until the 2026 UCI Road World Championships in Montreal, the race promises to be a full-scale dress rehearsal.
