Zian Mouchet and Morgane Coston, great winners

In the flagship 160 km event (2,000 m of elevation gain), Frenchman Zian Mouchet (AC Bisontine) secured a second victory at La Transju’Cyclo, after his success in the first edition. He won in a sprint in 4h09’29, ahead of his compatriots Simon Buttner and Maxence Janodet. « This victory was more difficult than the first. With Jules Vanotti, we attempted a two-man breakaway for 30 km, but the finale was intense. I handled the last roundabout well, and it paid off! » declared Mouchet at the finish.

In the women’s race, Morgane Coston (Team Arkéa) dominated the course in 4h11’25. « The course was magnificent, even if I pushed a bit too hard at the end. The Jura is superb! » she confided, delighted with her first participation.

Remarkable performances on all courses

On the 110 km, Aurélien Lionnet claimed a second consecutive victory in 2h52’04, while Emeline Eustache won among women in 3h09’25. Of note was the excellent performance of legend Jeannie Longo, 3rd over this distance.
