The full IRONMAN World Championship course in Nice on ROUVY!

ROUVY, the indoor cycling application that allows users to ride real-world routes from home, now offers the complete course of the IRONMAN World Championship in Nice. Triathletes and amateur cyclists can explore this demanding 180 km course, as well as the exclusive climbing workout designed by Sam Long.

An exceptional partnership with IRONMAN

Earlier this year, ROUVY formalized a long-term partnership with IRONMAN, offering athletes a unique opportunity to train on the iconic roads of their competitions. This 180 km course, designed as a loop, accumulates 2,500 m of positive elevation gain with a maximum gradient of 20%. Renowned for its beauty and difficulty, it crosses the charming villages of the Pré-Alpes d’Azur Natural Park before reaching Nice, the pearl of the French Riviera.

A faithful recreation thanks to ROUVY technology

Captured during IRONMAN France 2025 thanks to ROUVY’s cutting-edge technology and its on-site team, this virtual course faithfully reproduces the real event. It includes official timing mats, aid stations, and penalty zones, offering athletes a detailed preview of the race. For those who prefer a lighter version, a reduced option is available, including the legendary ascent of the Col de Vence from the Promenade des Anglais.

Sam Long’s exclusive workout

New to the application: the “Climbing” session designed by American professional triathlete Sam Long. This one-hour workout, focused on threshold intervals, prepares body and mind for the challenges of the Nice course. “The Nice course is as beautiful as it is formidable,” says Sam Long, ROUVY athlete. “Training virtually with ROUVY has been an incredible experience to refine my preparation. It’s a perfect route, not only for Nice triathletes, but also for all lovers of sporty and picturesque rides. An ideal tool for reconnaissance, which motivated me even more for the World Championships!”
