The 2025 Tour of Great Britain, which will determine Stephen Williams’ (Israel-Premier Tech) successor, will take place from Tuesday, September 2, through Sunday, September 7, on varied terrain that will primarily favor sprinters and, to a lesser extent, puncheurs. For some riders, this will be their final stage race in preparation for the World Championships. The entire course will cover 884 km, with the first stage in Scotland and the remainder of the race in England. The general classification is expected to be decided during Stage 5, which will finish at the summit. Oscar Onley, riding on home turf, is the favorite, especially if he has maintained the form he showed at the Tour de France.
