Thonon Cycling Race 2026: registration open

In the enchanting setting of Lake Geneva and the Chablais mountains, the Thonon Cycling Race returns on May 2 and 3, 2026, for its 6th edition, focused on conviviality and accessibility. This event, organized by Chablais Léman Sport Organisation, promises a festive weekend to kick off the cycling season in style.

Gravel: a non-timed adventure for everyone

On Saturday, May 2, gravel enthusiasts can choose between two routes:

  • Rando (56 km, 740 m D+): ideal for beginners, open to ages 16 and up, mountain bikes and e-bikes allowed.
  • Ultra (95 km, 1000 m D+): for the more experienced, with a new route along Lake Geneva.

No more signage or timing: the 2026 edition focuses on free navigation and individual timing to preserve the adventurous spirit of gravel. Participants will start together from Thonon, crossing the Bois de Ville, the Lully marshes (with its emblematic aid station), and the Chemins Blancs, before a peaceful finish by the lake. More accessible than ever, these routes are open to an even wider audience.

Road: varied and secure routes

On Sunday, May 3, road cyclists will have a choice of four routes:

  • Rando (55 km, 799 m D+, ages 14 and up): perfect for an introduction.
  • Petit (57 km, 1000 m D+, ages 16 and up): includes the climb of Jambaz and the Col du Feu.
  • Moyen (87 km, 1600 m D+, ages 16 and up): a balanced itinerary via Draillant and Le Lyaud.
  • Grand (109 km, 2390 m D+): a challenge with the cols of Jambaz, Saxel, Ruppes, Moises, and Feu.

New for 2026: times will be neutralized between Le Lyaud and Thonon for increased safety. Electric bikes (touring mode) are allowed on the Petit and Moyen routes. The aid stations, generous with local specialties like potato fritters, will ensure a moment of sharing for everyone.

A festive and inclusive event

With over 3500 participants expected, the Thonon Cycling Race is establishing itself as a must-attend event for cyclists of all levels. The event offers comprehensive services (aid stations, meticulous organization) and a flash offer: -10% on registrations with code FLASH48 (valid for 48 hours, until Friday, August 29, 8 PM). As a bonus, each participant benefits from a 10% discount on other events organized by Chablais Léman Sport, such as those scheduled for May 30-31, June 20-21, August 1, and September 19-20, 2026.
