While the world’s best climbers are sharpening their legs for the high-altitude battles of the Vuelta a España, MyWhoosh invites all cyclists to take on an epic challenge: the Vuelta Vertical mission. From August 18 to September 22, 2025, this challenge, inspired by the famous Spanish race, focuses on climbing and promises to test your endurance on demanding virtual slopes.
Whether you are a climbing enthusiast or a cyclist looking for new sensations, this three-stage mission is for you. Get ready to climb carefully designed mountainous courses, with increasing difficulty leading up to the queen climb of Jebel Hafeet.

Stage 1: The Hill
Course: Hollywood Hills
Distance & Elevation Gain: 13.3 km – 202 m
Dates: August 18 to 31, 2025
Stage 2: The Ascent
Course: Saka No Michi
Distance & Elevation Gain: 18.7 km – 457 m
Dates: September 1 to 7, 2025
Stage 3: The Mountain
Course: Jebel Hafeet
Distance & Elevation Gain: 16.3 km – 735 m
Dates: September 8 to 14, 2025

How to participate in the mission
Joining the Vuelta Vertical mission is simple: open the MyWhoosh app and go to the “Missions” tab from the home screen to discover the ongoing challenges. Go to the “Events” tab, select the challenges related to the mission, and click “Participate”. Ride, accumulate elevation gain, and unlock your rewards!
