A 4500 km challenge for young hospitalized heroes

Nicolas Bodin, 48, a school teacher and ultra-cycling enthusiast, is embarking on a 4,500 km challenge this summer to support the L’École à l’Hôpital association. This journey includes the London-Edinburgh-London, the Flandrien Challenge, the 24 Hours of Le Mans Cycling, and the Paris-Luxembourg route, all completed on an eco-responsible wooden gravel bike from Cycles Vène.

After a career in marketing, Nicolas chose teaching to give meaning to his work. An experienced cyclist, he has already conquered the Transcontinental Race, Paris-Brest-Paris, and the 5 Monuments of cycling. Committed to the climate, he is also a volunteer facilitator for La Fresque du Climat.

His challenge aims to raise funds for L’École à l’Hôpital, which provides schooling for young patients in Île-de-France. Each donation, offering a tax advantage, will finance educational materials and volunteer training. Nicolas is also seeking partners to maximize donations, while inspiring young and old alike through his altruistic commitment.

Through these events, where he will cycle day and night with minimal sleep, Nicolas brings hope to hospitalized children, the true everyday heroes.
