Andros Sport: when taste continues to lead the way

Remember… Last February, we introduced you to the Andros Sport range. It was cold, the days were short, but already, we sensed something new emerging in the highly standardized world of sports nutrition: a desire to reconcile taste, performance, and pleasure. Real fruit, and an uncompromising approach to quality. Here we are in the middle of summer. The Tour de France is in full swing, the mercury is flirting with record highs, and on our roads as well as in our jersey back pockets, two new products from Andros Sport are making waves: the strawberry Boost Gummies and the chocolate-peanut recovery bar. And as always, at 3bikes, we tested them…

Boost Gummies Strawberry — Small gummies, big energy

Fans of the mango-banana version already know them. But this time, Andros is betting on strawberry. And from the moment you open the packet, there’s no doubt: this is real fruit, not a lab-created flavor. The taste is accurate, natural, slightly tart, without a chemical candy effect. A real success.

Technically, these gummies are designed to provide a quick, practical, and digestible energy boost during exercise. And they perfectly fulfill their role. The trio of fructose, fast sugar, and green coffee extract delivers a real boost, without overdose or palpitations. The melting texture allows them to be consumed even at full throttle, between two turns or on a climb.

Better than a packet of candy in the glove box: gummies that really boost you.

One packet = 6 gummies = one serving. Simple. Effective.

What we like

  • Bold, natural taste, no artificial sweeteners
  • Pleasant, non-sticky texture
  • Compact and easy-to-dose format
  • A real little kick, progressive but clear

What we like less

  • One packet might seem a bit small for long efforts
  • Be careful if combining with other caffeine sources (coffee, cola, energy gel…)
Tested and approved by Dany Maffeis: when we handed him a packet of Boost Gummies, he forgot he was supposed to complain about the elevation gain. Proof that strawberry motivates even in the countryside.

Recommended price: €2.99 per packet

Chocolate-Peanut Protein Bar — Recovery becomes a moment of pleasure

This is the surprise of the summer. The recovery bar that looks neither like a classic protein bar nor a post-workout punishment. It contains 20 grams of protein (wheat and milk), a dark chocolate coating that’s not too sweet, and whole peanut pieces, which provide a real richness in the mouth. A soft texture, just crunchy enough.

Above all, it is very digestible. Tested after a long ride in over 30°C, it goes down easily. You don’t feel like you’re swallowing a technical object, but rather a truly gourmet and useful snack. And that’s rare.

What we like

  • Really good. Not “good for a protein bar,” but just plain good
  • Melting and crunchy texture at the same time
  • Very digestible, no heavy feeling
  • Enriched with vitamins and potassium

What we like less

  • 228 kcal: a significant intake, to be reserved for serious recovery
  • Not suitable for vegans
Finally, a recovery bar you’d eat even without having exercised beforehand.

Recommended price: €2.99 per bar

What these new products confirm

These two products confirm what we had sensed at the beginning of the year: Andros Sport is not playing amateur nutritionist. Here, you can feel that taste was not an afterthought to the technical formulation. It is at the heart of the project.

Each product is designed to be effective, digestible, and enjoyable. This is not so common. Most of the time, you have to choose between one or the other. Here, there is no compromise.

And that changes everything. Because on the bike, on foot, or in the gym, you rarely want to force yourself to eat something that looks like a mixture of glue and vacuum-packed soy. We were waiting for these new products, and they arrive just in time.

Goal achieved: we came back, we sweated, we earned it. And this chocolate-peanut bar? Honestly, we’d eat it even without a sports excuse. But shhh, it’s just between us.

Conclusion: this summer, we’re fueling up with a smile

Between the refreshing strawberry that wakes you up and the sweet chocolate post-effort, Andros Sport continues to forge its path. That of nutrition that doesn’t make noise, but makes a difference. Not by banging on the table, but by speaking truthfully. By respecting athletes, pros and amateurs alike, who want to do well — without hurting their palate.

In a back pocket or a trail bag, these products deserve their place. And above all, they remind us that we can eat seriously without ever ceasing to enjoy ourselves.

Performance, yes. But not without emotion. And at Andros, they have definitely understood that taste can also be a driving force.

During the effort, we bite into strawberry. Afterwards, we savor chocolate and peanut.
