Polar unveils the Grit X2, its most compact outdoor watch

Polar, a global leader in sports and wellness technology for nearly 50 years, introduces the Grit X2, the latest gem in its award-winning outdoor range. This watch combines advanced navigation, cutting-edge physiological sensors, and training and recovery tools in a robust, elegant, and more compact format than ever before.

A Nordic design built for adventure

Inspired by Nordic aesthetics, the Grit X2 combines style and functionality. With its slimmed case, stainless steel bezel engraved with a compass, and glove-friendly buttons, it is designed for exploration while remaining discreet for daily use. Its 1.28-inch color AMOLED display, protected by ultra-resistant sapphire glass, ensures optimal readability, even in direct sunlight. Compliant with military standard 810H, it resists shocks, immersion, extreme temperatures, and altitude.

Available in Night Black and Brown Copper, the Grit X2 is compatible with standard 22 mm straps, adapting equally well to trails and the city.

Intuitive and powerful navigation

Equipped with offline color topographic maps, points of interest, and elevation profiles, the Grit X2 facilitates route planning and tracking. Its impressive battery life offers up to 90 hours in economy mode, 30 hours in performance mode, and one week in smartwatch mode. With 32 GB of internal memory and a replaceable rechargeable battery, it is designed to last.

Optimized training and recovery

Thanks to the Polar Elixir™ platform, the Grit X2 integrates advanced technologies: 4th-generation optical heart rate, wrist ECG, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) measurement, and skin temperature. These data power tools like Nightly Recharge™, Training Load Pro, and the orthostatic test, enabling precise monitoring of training and recovery, adapted to altitude or rest periods.

Connectivity and scalability

The Grit X2 shares the same operating system as the Grit X2 Pro, ensuring regular updates for navigation, training, and recovery. All data is synchronized with the Polar Flow ecosystem, accessible via the mobile app and web platform to analyze performance and plan adventures.
