The Basque brand focused on performance unveils its new range of LTD wheels, with rim depths of 80, 57, 50 and 35 mm, all equipped with the revolutionary OQUO hub, entirely designed and manufactured in the Basque Country.

The new generation of wheels

OQUO today presents its latest generation of road and Gravel wheels, developed in collaboration with elite teams and riders like Lotto. These new wheels integrate a new high-performance hub entirely developed by OQUO in its facilities in the Basque Country. Combined with new rims, this development marks a new step in performance and innovation.

New OQUO wheels: perfected from the inside out

OQUO adds four new models to its high-end LTD range: RA80 LTD, RA57 LTD, RP50 LTD, and RP35 LTD. All these wheels integrate OQUO’s Gen2 technologies, including the new Q10 hub, and have been perfected from the inside out to improve every component. The result: less friction, better sealing, reduced weight, and improved aerodynamic performance.

● RA80 LTD
Ultimate aerodynamic performance, designed for maximum speed thanks to its 80 mm rim depth. Ideal for time trials or high-speed events. It is OQUO’s most aerodynamic wheel, developed in a wind tunnel and optimized for stability in crosswinds.

● RA57 LTD
OQUO’s most versatile aero wheel, with a 57 mm rim depth. It offers a perfect balance between lightness and high-speed efficiency. Ideal for mixed courses with climbs and rolling sections. More comfortable than the 80 mm version.

● RP50 LTD
A combination of aero rim depth and wide rim for optimal performance on road, cobbles, or gravel. Ideal for fast cyclists on demanding terrain. The wide rim improves compatibility with wider tires and stability in crosswinds.

● RP35 LTD
OQUO’s lightest and stiffest wheel, designed for the most demanding climbers. At only 1244 g, it excels in the mountains and offers exceptional efficiency on high-elevation courses. The mini-hook profile optimizes tire fit and aerodynamics. The Q10 hub allows for weight savings compared to the previous generation.

A brand new hub, the OQUO Q10

Designed, machined, and assembled entirely in the Basque Country, the OQUO Q10 hub offers unparalleled performance. It combines high-end materials, precision machining, and an innovative design to ensure reliability and efficiency. It is also one of the lightest hubs on the market: 175 g (rear) and 104 g (front).

● Aerospace-grade 7075 T6 Aluminum. This material is more difficult to machine but offers superior durability compared to most steels on the market. The result: lighter, stiffer, and more resistant hubs.
● Full CNC machining. OQUO hubs are entirely CNC machined from a single block of material, ensuring a perfect fit between components. This high-precision process eliminates any excess material to guarantee strength and lightness.

● 45-tooth Shark Ratchet with anti-friction ceramic treatment. Designed with a treatment derived from aeronautics, this technology ensures optimal power transmission and immediate responsiveness.

○ 45T design: 8° engagement for fast and responsive transmission.
○ Anti-friction ceramic treatment: increased durability and reduced friction.
● Custom low-friction bearings: 100% customized stainless steel ball bearings and cages, with low-friction seals. Lubricated with a light, water-resistant grease, performing even at -50 °C. Every detail is designed to minimize power loss and withstand radial and axial loads.

● Tool-free maintenance: threadless design allowing easy disassembly by hand, without any special tools. Fast, simple, and accessible to all cyclists.
● Compatibility : the Q10 easily adapts to Shimano and SRAM cassette systems. Only one part needs to be changed to switch between them.
● Ultra-efficient sealing: fully sealed against water and dust. Its construction and materials ensure maximum resistance to external aggressions and long-term wear.
