Apollo Tyres Ltd announces the signing of two strategic partnerships to strengthen the presence of its Vredestein bicycle tire brand in France. These agreements aim to expand the availability and notoriety of the range, by relying on two specialized distributors: Triangle SAS for tires dedicated to urban and daily mobility, and Alternativ Sports for the high-performance tire segment.
Triangle SAS: focus on urban mobility
Founded in 1998, Triangle SAS is a major player in the distribution of solutions for urban mobility and cycling components. Present in major French cities with a wide network of retailers, the company will now offer a selection of Vredestein tires for city and touring, including flagship models such as the Perfect Tour and the Dynamic City, as well as adapted inner tubes.
Alternativ Sports: expertise for performance
Since May 1st, Alternativ Sports, recognized for its catalog of high-end cycling products and its specialized sales team, has been distributing Vredestein performance tires. Among the models offered are the Superpasso and the Fortezza Senso Superiore, as well as accessories and inner tubes. Thanks to its close ties with the French cycling community and its focus on premium products, Alternativ Sports is a key partner to support Vredestein’s expansion in the sports segment.
An ambitious expansion strategy
« These collaborations with Triangle SAS and Alternativ Sports will allow us to reach new cyclists and boost our sales in France », explains Nic Knippers, head of the TWT division at Apollo Tyres. « We are enthusiastic about this promising partnership, which will make our products accessible to a wider public. »
These new agreements are a continuation of the partnership with Audace Sports, which Nic Knippers wished to commend for its commitment over the past two years.
A complete range for all cyclists
Apollo Tyres’ Vredestein range covers all cycling needs: urban, road and gravel. Among the new products, the Superpasso Pro, a high-performance road tire designed for competition, integrates a lightweight casing and TriComp technology for optimal grip in all conditions. Available in tubeless and tubed versions, it marks the beginning of a new line of racing tires, with other launches planned for 2026.
For gravel enthusiasts, the Aventura stands out with its versatile tread, ideal for off-road trails, featuring a robust casing and reinforced shoulder for better traction. The Aventura Seta, on the other hand, is designed for cyclists riding mainly on road, but wishing to occasionally venture onto loose surfaces, thanks to a smooth central tread and more pronounced shoulders.
