Garmin introduces the HRM 600 heart rate strap

Garmin HRM 600 Heart Rate Monitor: Advanced Features for Performance Tracking

Garmin unveils the HRM 600, a heart rate monitor designed to provide athletes with precise data and tools to optimize their training. This model measures heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV), with real-time transmission to compatible Garmin smartwatches, GPS bike computers, and applications. Among its new features: improved running dynamics, standalone activity recording, and a rechargeable battery.

Key Features of the HRM 600

Advanced Running Dynamics: Compatible with the Forerunner® 970, the HRM 600 integrates a measurement of speed loss upon ground impact, in addition to existing metrics (stride length, vertical oscillation, ground contact time balance). This data, also available on models like the Forerunner® 570, helps perfect running technique.

Standalone Recording: The strap captures data (heart rate, calories, speed, distance) without a watch, ideal for team sports or situations where wearing a watch is impossible. Information is synchronized via Garmin Connect™.

Rechargeable Battery: Up to two months of battery life per charge.

Functional Design: Activation and pairing with a simple button press, with an LED indicating device status (on, charge needed, etc.).

Other Features

Connectivity: Transmission of heart rate and HRV data to Garmin watches, Edge® bike computers, fitness equipment, and applications like Garmin Connect or Tacx™ Training.

Watch-Free Tracking: Records steps, calories, heart rate, and intensity minutes, synchronizable via Garmin Connect.

Versatility: Provides speed and distance data for indoor or treadmill workouts, as well as heart rate for swimming, with compatible devices.

Comfort and Adaptability: Adjustable strap in two sizes (XS-S and M-XL), machine washable after module removal.
