Trek announces the expansion of its prestigious Project One CHROMA paint series, now enriched with eight new shades: Mirror, Gold, Ivy, Pink, Root Beer, Ruby, Sapphire, and Violet. Initially reserved for professional riders of the Trek team, the CHROMA finish has established itself as one of the most popular options in the Project One customization program.
Inspired by the iconic metallic shades of 80s and 90s bike frames, CHROMA paint revisits this heritage with a modern approach. Unlike the chrome plating of yesteryear, Project One artisans have spent nearly five years perfecting an innovative technique that is both more ecological and adapted to carbon fiber frames. This technical challenge required numerous experiments to guarantee a brilliant and durable finish.

Launched with great fanfare during the 2021 Tour de France, CHROMA paint immediately captivated cycling enthusiasts. With the addition of these eight new colors, enthusiasts now have an even wider range of options to customize their bike.

Available exclusively on the Madone SLR Gen 8 via the Project One program, these new finishes can be ordered from Trek retailers worldwide.
Beware, the price is very high, with an option at €4200!
