REBOUND 2025: the global gravel event will take place on May 31

REBOUND 2025: Shimano and Live Slow Ride Fast Relaunch Global Gravel Event

The REBOUND, organized by Shimano and Live Slow Ride Fast (LSRF), returns on May 31, 2025, following the 2023 and 2024 editions. This initiative aims to mobilize over 400,000 cyclists worldwide to collectively cover 5 million kilometers.

Participants are invited to design their own route of 24, 40, 80, 160, or 320 km, starting from their homes. The goal is to celebrate the international gravel community, riding from 6 AM local time, in parallel with the UNBOUND Gravel event in Kansas.

No registration fees or timing are imposed, but organizers encourage sharing experiences on social media with the hashtags #REBOUND2025 and #UnitedInGravel.

Initiated by former professional rider Laurens ten Dam and the LSRF team in the Netherlands, REBOUND promotes an inclusive experience, uniting cyclists in the spirit of gravel, without borders.

REBOUND 2024 Review

In 2024, 361,110 cyclists participated, covering 6,195,467 km in 275,222 hours. The United States dominated with 42,353 participants, followed by the United Kingdom (33,632) and Brazil (32,410). Germany (29,519), France (26,105), Spain (19,028), Italy (16,175), the Netherlands (11,296), Canada (10,368), and Belgium (9,884) also contributed significantly.

Partnership with Strava

For 2025, 123,500 cyclists have already signed up for the REBOUND Strava Challenge, which allows them to record rides, win prizes, and connect through shared experiences. Strava’s route creation tool, based on anonymized user data, offers personalized routes, integrating path suggestions, points of interest, and interactive planning options, such as 3D maps.

As part of a specific partnership, REBOUND 2025 participants will benefit from a free trial of Strava’s premium features before the event, facilitating route planning. For more information or to create a route, visit the Strava Route Builder.
