Tom Pidcock’s Addict RC Classics Edition: A Machine Tailored for the Amstel Gold Race
As the 2025 Amstel Gold Race approaches, Tom Pidcock, the prodigy from the Q36.5 Pro Cycling team, will set off with an exceptional weapon to defend his title: the special SCOTT Addict RC Classics edition, custom-designed for him.

The Amstel Gold Race, one of the highlights of the spring classics, is upon us. All eyes will be on Tom Pidcock, winner in 2024 and a rising star in cycling. His brilliant victory last year, marked by audacious attacks, captivated fans. With a recent podium finish at Strade Bianche 2025, Pidcock is an undeniable favorite for the Ardennes Classics.
To support his ambitions, SCOTT unveils a unique edition of the Addict RC, designed to reflect the spirit of the classics. This bike celebrates the diversity of mythical spring courses, from the dusty roads of Strade Bianche to the steep climbs of the Mur de Huy, and the sunny roads of Liguria.
A Design That Tells a Story
The Addict RC Classics Edition frame is a work of art, adorned with abstract motifs evoking legendary moments in spring cycling. “We opted for bold shapes and dynamic typography, combined with abstract symbols that capture the essence of each race,” explains Charlotte Pythoud, Senior Graphic Designer at SCOTT Sports. Gone are the classic cycling colors: vibrant shades of pink and blue take their place, evoking the energy of spring and the momentum of youth.
A Precision Machine
Light (approximately 6.8 kg in size XS), stiff, and agile, the Addict RC is designed to dominate one-day races. With generous tire clearance, it offers a perfect balance between comfort and performance. “This bike is an extension of myself. Its lightness and responsiveness give me a decisive advantage,” confides Pidcock, who has already shone with victories at Flèche Brabançonne (2021), Strade Bianche (2023), and the Amstel Gold Race (2024).
