POC Unveils New Cycling Collection and Innovative Inserts
POC is launching its 2025 cycling collection, highlighting innovations for road cycling and MTB, with a particular focus on the new Cadence bib shorts and their Novus inserts, designed specifically for men and women. This collection, complemented by the Motion range for MTB, combines performance, comfort, and durability thanks to technical materials and ergonomic designs.
Novus Insert: A New Approach to Comfort
Novus inserts rethink the traditional design of chamois pads. Wider than classic models, they are based on an in-depth analysis of pressure zones, carried out in collaboration with experts in physiotherapy, gynecology, and biomechanics. These inserts integrate:
- Strategic cutouts to reduce pressure on sensitive points.
- A gel layer for durable cushioning, even on long rides.
- Ventilated materials promoting air circulation, to stay cool and dry.
- A differentiated design adapted to male and female anatomy, meeting the specific needs of cyclists.
According to Monica Lindstrom, Apparel Category Director at POC, « the Novus insert exceeds current standards by offering increased comfort and optimal performance, regardless of the duration or conditions of the ride. »
Cadence Collection: For Road Cycling
The Cadence collection offers bib shorts incorporating the Novus insert, designed to maximize comfort and freedom of movement:
- Cadence Cargo Bib Shorts (men): featuring an ergonomic cut and non-compressive straps, they reduce pressure on the abdomen for prolonged ease.
- Cadence Bib Shorts (women): equipped with optimized straps for easy on/off without removing the jersey, they adapt to the female morphology.
- Cadence Jerseys: available for men and women, they offer a snug fit, extended sleeves, UPF 50 sun protection, and practical pockets, all made from recycled fibers.
The bib shorts use breathable four-way stretch fabrics, flatlock seams, and silicone grippers for a precise fit.
Motion Collection: For MTB
The Motion range revisits MTB classics while introducing new features:
- Motion Dungaree: made of lightweight polyamide, it guarantees flexibility and weather resistance, suitable for all seasons.
- Motion Air Shorts: combining lightness and robustness, they integrate micro-perforations for ventilation and a PFC-free DWR treatment.
- Motion Air Jerseys: made from recycled polyester (110 g/m²), they ensure coolness and breathability.
These pieces prioritize durable materials and functional designs to accompany mountain bikers on all their adventures.
Accessories: The Detail That Counts
The 2025 collection includes Cadence and Motion socks, available in new colors, lengths, and technical materials, for optimal comfort during rides.
