The free application ICI Toilettes, developed by the Nantes-based start-up Urban Services, facilitates travel for travelers, especially cyclists, hikers, and tourists. With over 100,000 downloads and 270,000 connections, it allows users to quickly geolocate public or partner restrooms (cafes, bars, campsites) along their route, based on criteria of cleanliness, accessibility, and inclusion.
Particularly suited to the needs of cyclists during rides, the application has been adopted by La Vélodyssée, the 1,300 km cycling route connecting Roscoff to Hendaye. Nearly 9,000 restrooms are now listed there, including those of partners such as businesses, which are reimbursed and equipped with hygiene kits.

A new version of the application, launched in 2025 after three months of development, improves the user experience with features such as offline access to map data, quick re-centering, and the ability to report new points of interest. These developments aim to anticipate travelers’ needs and enrich the database through the community.
ICI Toilettes thus establishes itself as a practical tool for the 27 million hikers and 22 million cyclists in France, as well as for tourists exploring cities and seaside resorts. By forging partnerships with tourism stakeholders, the application aims to become an essential tool for itinerant travel, while promoting inclusion and comfort for all.
