Paris-Roubaix 2025 takes place on Sunday, April 12, between Compiègne in the Oise department and Roubaix in the Nord department. With a total distance of 260 km, the Hell of the North offers 30 cobbled sectors (i.e., 55.3 km) to tackle over the last 166 kilometers, with difficulty levels ranging from one star (easy) to five stars (extremely difficult). Double defending champion of the “cobble” (2023 and 2024), Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel, magnificent winner of Milan-San Remo on March 22, and Slovenian Tadej Pogacar, winner of the Tour of Flanders on April 6 a week ago, are the overwhelming favorites for the race. A kind of “decider” between these two monsters (Pogacar finished 3rd at San Remo and Van der Poel 3rd at Flanders) that promises to be epic. Even if it’s a first for the Slovenian at Roubaix, no one doubts his ability to influence the race, surprise, and contend for the final victory. It’s even what everyone expects! Behind them are Dane Mads Pedersen (winner of his 3rd Gent-Wevelgem after a 56 km solo breakaway on March 30 and 2nd at Flanders) as well as Belgian Wout van Aert, who rode a very strong race at the Ronde (4th). Unless the treacherous cobbles hold enough surprises and twists to change the game and crown another contender? On the cobbled sectors, nothing can be predicted in advance. To follow the race closely, find the detailed course map, the list and ratings of the 30 cobbled sectors, the teams and riders entered, as well as the live TV broadcast times for this 122nd edition.
