Polar now allows its users to automatically synchronize their training plans and sessions from TrainingPeaks to its ecosystem. TrainingPeaks is an application widely used by coaches and endurance athletes, regardless of their level. This integration facilitates the joint use of both platforms by transferring structured workouts from TrainingPeaks to Polar Flow, and then to compatible Polar sports watches.

By linking their Polar Flow and TrainingPeaks accounts, users can directly import their workouts, whether designed by a coach or created independently. These sessions are then available on their Polar watch, which guides them in real-time through the different stages, respecting the defined heart rate zones, speed, or power targets.
Joonas Rajaniemi, Director of Services at Polar, explains: « Polar devices have long offered the ability to program segmented workouts. This integration with TrainingPeaks, a globally recognized platform, simplifies the transfer of data and training plans. Users thus automatically receive their sessions on their watch, allowing them to focus on their performance and goals. »
Detailed Analysis
Initially offered in beta, this feature provides access to the TrainingPeaks library, which includes numerous specialized workouts and comprehensive plans. For users working with more than five training zones, the system adjusts these zones to Polar’s five-zone format, while maintaining the planned objectives.
After each session, data is synchronized with TrainingPeaks, allowing for detailed performance analysis and progress tracking to adjust plans if necessary.

Availability
This integration is compatible with the current range of Polar watches and is backward compatible with several earlier models, such as the Polar Vantage V and Polar M430. Thus, the majority of Polar users can benefit from it.
Users with a TrainingPeaks account, free or Premium, can import their workouts into Polar Flow. Basic features are accessible to everyone, but some advanced TrainingPeaks options require a Premium subscription.
Polar Bonus Packs
The purchase of a new Polar watch includes a 30-day free trial of TrainingPeaks Premium, offering full access to its advanced tools, such as personalized workout creation and detailed performance analysis.
TrainingPeaks joins Polar’s premium partners, such as komoot, Strava, adidas Running, Phlex, and Equilab. These collaborations allow users to access tools covering planning, performance tracking, routes, and recovery.
