Officine Mattio celebrates its tenth anniversary: a significant milestone that tells a story of vision and commitment in the creation of high-end bicycles , entirely made in Italy.
The official founding of Officine Mattio Srl dates back to 2019, the year the company was created, but its roots go back to 2015 , the year the first OM brand bicycle was born. This dream took shape thanks to the intuition of Giovanni Monge Roffarello, founder and CEO of the company, driven by the desire to restore prestige to Italian cycling .
“It all started with the desire to create something unique ,” explains Monge Roffarello. “I wanted to prove that it was possible to manufacture a high-end bicycle entirely in Italy , maintaining total control over every step of the production process, from design to painting. It was a challenge, but also an act of love for our country and for the cycling tradition that distinguishes us .” ”
Officine Mattio’s journey has been marked by fundamental encounters. Among these, the people who accompanied Monge Roffarello in structuring the project, allowing the company to develop and make a name for itself.
“I wouldn’t be here without the people who believed in this project,” Monge Roffarello continues. “My partners and everyone who has accompanied me over these years have been essential. Officine Mattio is not just a brand: it’s a family of cycling enthusiasts who share the same values.”
Today, Officine Mattio represents a benchmark on the international cycling scene. The quality of materials, attention to detail, and refined design have won over enthusiasts and athletes worldwide, leading the brand to expand into global markets, with the opening of a holding company in the United Arab Emirates and ambitious plans for the future.
