Designed to meet the demands of professional cyclists, it has accompanied the greatest champions—notably those of the INEOS Grenadiers team—to victory in the world’s biggest races, such as the Tour de France.

With this new model, simply named the New Dogma F, Pinarello pays tribute to more than two decades of innovation while looking resolutely toward the future.

This bike is not merely an update to the previous version released in 2021, but a true technical revolution. Developed in close collaboration with professional riders, it incorporates their feedback to deliver optimal performance on all terrains.

It’s worth noting that the INEOS Grenadiers riders use this bike on all types of courses, from Milan-Sanremo to the Tour de France, including Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders.

Technical Innovations of the Pinarello New Dogma F

The new Dogma F stands out thanks to a series of technical improvements designed to place it at the top of the road bike hierarchy. Here are the key points to remember:

1. A lighter frame thanks to Torayca M40X carbon fiber

Pinarello has opted for a new carbon fiber, Torayca M40X, which replaces the T1100 1K fiber used on previous models. This fiber, previously tested on the Dogma X-Light models, offers a very high tensile modulus, allowing for reduced weight while increasing lateral stiffness.

The result: the size 53 frame goes from 850 g to just 742 g—a significant reduction that improves the bike’s handling and responsiveness.

What is Torayca M40X carbon fiber?

Torayca M40X belongs to the Torayca MX series, a range of next-generation carbon fibres developed by the Japanese company Toray to meet the growing needs of industries (aeronautics, automotive, sports) requiring lightweight, strong, and rigid materials.

This fiber is the result of advanced technological innovations, particularly in the control of graphite’s crystalline structures at the nanoscale.

Improved tensile strength: Torayca M40X offers approximately a 30% increase in tensile strength compared to conventional carbon fibers, while maintaining an equivalent or higher modulus of elasticity.

High modulus of elasticity: With a modulus of elasticity exceeding 350 GPa, this fiber ensures exceptional stiffness, which is essential for applications requiring optimal power transmission, such as bicycle frames.

Lightweight: Thanks to its optimized density, Torayca M40X trims component weight without sacrificing strength.

Nanoalloy Technology: Toray uses its proprietary Nanoalloy technology to enhance the properties of the resin used in prepregs, thereby improving compressive and impact strength.

2. Optimized aerodynamics for marginal gains

Aerodynamics is a top priority for Pinarello, and the Dogma F is no exception. Engineers have redesigned several elements to reduce drag and improve airflow:

  • The down tube has been redesigned in its upper section. At the bottom bracket, the brand reports a 1.2% improvement in aerodynamics thanks to optimized shapes.
  • The head tube has been slimmed by 8 mm, reducing the frontal area and optimising cable routing, which is now integrated at the front for a cleaner look.
  • Pinarello’s iconic Onda fork features a more tapered design with a 47 mm offset (up from 43 mm previously), improving both aerodynamics and stability, particularly on technical descents.

According to Pinarello, these improvements make the New Dogma F 0.2% more aerodynamic than its predecessor. This gain may seem marginal, but it’s achieved on a frame that’s already highly efficient in this regard. The Dogma is thus one of the highest-performing all-around bikes in its class, just behind pure aero bikes.

3. Even More Versatility

Pinarello designed the New Dogma F to be a bike capable of doing it all: climbing, descending, sprinting, or riding on the flats. This versatility is enhanced by:

  • Compatibility with tyres up to 32 mm, thanks to a wider fork and chainstays, offering more comfort and grip on varied road surfaces.
  • Optimized geometry, developed using data collected during the 2022 Tour de France, particularly from riders like Geraint Thomas. Engineers analyzed where energy was being lost to maximize the bike’s efficiency in all situations.
4. Down to the Finest Details

Pinarello left nothing to chance, and every detail of the New Dogma F was designed to optimize performance and aesthetics:

  • The seatpost clamp is fully integrated, reducing weight and enhancing the clean lines of the design.
  • The thru-axle mounts are enclosed, contributing to improved aerodynamics.
  • The new Talon Ultra Fast cockpit is lighter and more aerodynamic, with a 7° flare to ensure the brake levers are perfectly aligned with UCI regulation limits. This is because many riders are now accustomed to riding with the hoods angled inward.

Performance in Numbers

Here is a summary of the technical improvements of the New Dogma F compared to its predecessor:

  • Reduced total weight: 108 g lighter for the frame and fork assembly, and up to 175 g lighter for a complete bike with the same components.
  • Aerodynamics are improved by 0.2% overall, with specific gains in key areas such as the down tube and head tube.
  • Increased stiffness: Thanks to Torayca M40X carbon fiber, the frame offers better power transfer, ideal for sprints and technical climbs.

A mesmerizing design: Italian elegance

The Dogma F isn’t just a high-performance bike—it’s also an object of desire. With its clean lines and the brand’s signature asymmetrical design, it embodies the Italian elegance for which Pinarello is renowned. The finishes add a touch of sophistication, while customization options allow you to create a one-of-a-kind bike.

Top-of-the-line components

The Pinarello New Dogma F is available exclusively with a top-of-the-line groupset, whether Campagnolo, SRAM, or Shimano. It’s also offered as a frame kit for those who want a custom build. And it comes in 11 sizes and 7 colors. That’s almost a record in the industry. Our test bike, in the INEOS Grenadiers colour scheme, is equipped just like the pro team’s bike, with the exception of the saddle (a Most saddle instead of a Prologo) and… the gear ratios!

The Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset is paired here with wheels from the same brand, featuring 50-mm-high rims and Continental GP 5000 S TR tires. A reliable and versatile setup, also chosen by INEOS. But just like with the WorldTour team, it’s possible to opt for the bike with lighter Princeton wheels—though this significantly increases the price.

With this setup, our test bike weighs exactly 7 kg without pedals in size 53. This weight can be reduced even further with a true tubeless setup, since—for practical reasons—the tires here are fitted with inner tubes. And you can get well below 6.8 kg with Princeton wheels, or by opting for a different paint scheme, such as Pinarello’s Black on Black finish. The Pinarello New Dogma F thus rivals the lightest bikes used at the highest level, while maintaining excellent aerodynamics.

Stiffness and stability remain key

The changes made to this new Dogma haven’t radically altered the recognized character of this exceptional machine. Stiffness and stability remain paramount, despite a lighter frame and a slight adjustment to the geometry—particularly in terms of fork offset. It offers improved maneuverability, whether in tight turns or when accelerating out of the saddle on steep climbs, without sacrificing the legendary stability of Pinarello bikes at high speeds.

In terms of dynamic handling, the Dogma F feels as if it’s encased along the entire length of its wheelbase. You don’t feel any weakness or discrepancy in stiffness in any part of the bike or any of its components. But it’s not absolutely rigid—or completely inflexible.

Many top-of-the-line bikes offer a slight degree of lateral give when you stand up on the pedals, which provides a sense of dynamism. The Dogma F, at least since the previous generation, is no exception to this rule. This makes it not only highly effective at high intensity but also relatively easy to ride at a more leisurely pace. More specifically, while the bike seems to stiffen as you apply power, it remains relatively supple under the pedals during recovery phases.

This responsive behavior of the frame—some might describe it as “alive”—even offers a bit of leeway in case of a gear selection error. You don’t have to pedal very fast to enjoy the Dogma F. It’s only when you try to accelerate abruptly from a very high gear that the bike calls you to order. And it still requires good coordination between your upper and lower body to get up to full speed.

When you’re hammering—whether on purpose or accidentally in a big gear—the bike stays tracking straight without feeling like it’s falling apart.

“The tubes are massive and aerodynamically shaped, but the frame is stiff and lightweight overall. It’s a winning combination.”

On climbs, the new Dogma F demonstrates far more capability than its overall appearance suggests. The tubes are massive and aerodynamically shaped, but the frame is stiff and lightweight as a whole. This combination is a winner, even with 50-mm wheels, which don’t slow the bike down on gradients below 8 to 10 percent. In terms of comfort, the 28-mm tires and the frame’s overall design provide a good compromise for a bike of this caliber. Road buzz is well damped, so you can comfortably tackle rides of over five hours in the saddle. And speaking of the cockpit, it took us a while to get used to the pronounced flare, with the upper section much narrower than the lower section. This design feature provides a more aerodynamic position when your hands are on the hoods, but also reduces the lever arm when you stand up on the pedals. That said, from an ergonomic standpoint, this cockpit is very well designed. Everything seems to fall right at your fingertips, enhancing—if not the bike’s comfort—then at least the enjoyment you feel every time you ride it.

Balance at Every Level

Lighter, more aerodynamic, more maneuverable, yet just as stiff and stable as ever—not to mention a touch of comfort—the new Pinarello Dogma F embodies the quintessence of the high-end bike in 2025. It’s designed for high-level competition, of course, but it can also be enjoyed in a more leisurely way. Because it belongs to the category of exceptional machines. It’s as good as it is beautiful.

It’s also a very expensive bike. Undoubtedly out of reach for many cyclists. But nothing stops us from dreaming, right?
