In 2024, the Cannondale SuperSix EVO SE made history when Lachlan Morton set the fastest time ever at Unbound Gravel. Today, the SuperX shifts into high gear. Combining the EF Education team’s road experience and decades of gravel expertise, the SuperX promises a whole new level of speed and performance.

This is a machine that combines aerodynamics with an ultra-light frame ready to tackle the roughest roads.

The SuperX’s sophisticated carbon construction mitigates the unpredictable demands of gravel courses. Specially constructed flex zones in the seat tube, rear triangle, and top tube work as a holistic system with the bike’s D-shaped seatpost to absorb shocks and vibrations, thereby improving control and reducing fatigue.

Its race-proven geometry, OutFront steering, and finely tuned frame stiffness combine to offer handling that is both stable and precise.

On the LAB71 SuperX, Cannondale engineers managed to fit all of this into a sub-900g frame (size 56) thanks to the use of an even more advanced fiber and nano-resin composite, featuring exceptional tensile and compressive strength properties.

The SuperX also features Cannondale’s Delta Steerer design. Paired with Cannondale’s Conceal stem or the System R-One one-piece cockpit – with which the LAB71 SuperX is equipped – the Delta steerer allows for full cable concealment, while reducing the frontal area of the head tube to improve aerodynamics, integration, and ease of maintenance. It shows that it’s not just weight and speed that matter, but overall capability.

Depending on the courses, terrains, and weather conditions, the SuperX can accommodate tires up to 51 mm at the front and 48 mm at the rear, with at least 4 mm of clearance on each side, ready to face all the demands of the day.

Thanks to Cannondale’s rider-focused design philosophy, Proportional Response, every rider can experience the full potential of the SuperX. Fully customized by size, with different tube profiles and precisely oriented layers of various carbon types and modules, each frame offers an ideal balance of weight, stiffness, and durability, optimized for each of the six sizes (46 to 61 cm).

The new SuperX range comes in three standard specification levels, as well as a limited series of complete LAB71 bikes and framesets.
