SHIMANO CUES road handlebar components represent Shimano’s commitment to making cycling accessible to riders of all levels.

SHIMANO CUES shifters offer a good grip for more confidence thanks to improved ergonomics. By adopting the ergonomics of its high-end road groupsets, CUES is designed to accommodate a wide range of hand sizes.

By consolidating its 9, 10, and 11-speed component ranges with interchangeable components, including derailleur pulleys, cassette cogs, and chains, SHIMANO CUES reduces inventory needs and simplifies maintenance for mid-range bikes.

The range features unified cog spacing across its 9, 10, and 11-speed drivetrains – Shimano’s most compatible and versatile component range – which means components can be mixed and matched to suit various rider profiles and riding styles. Riders gain confidence for climbing passes, for descents, for riding through the forest or in the city.

With more durable drivetrain technology, LINKGLIDE extends component lifespan and offers a smooth shifting experience.

CUES 10 and 11-speed Drivetrain with Disc Brakes

SHIMANO CUES 10 and 11-speed components, from the 6000 series, feature powerful hydraulic disc brakes and smooth shifting with improved chain retention. With a gear ratio lower than 1:1, based on LINKGLIDE technology, three times more durable and smoother, you can be sure of stable and smooth shifting with every derailleur action.

Built with a robust yet lightweight design, each SHIMANO CUES crankset is compatible with HYPERGLIDE 11-speed chains.

ST-U6030 – CUES DUAL CONTROL Hydraulic Shifters 11 / 10-speed

Ergonomically designed DUAL CONTROL levers with advanced features inherited from high-end road models. The new paddle design creates shorter lever access, allowing riders with smaller hands to comfortably reach the controls. Compatible with 10 and 11-speed drivetrains. Smooth and supple shifting that is the hallmark of SHIMANO CUES.

Available for direct mount (braze-on) or clamp mount.

BR-U6030 – CUES FLAT MOUNT Calipers for Hydraulic Braking

Specifically designed for 160mm rotors, the most common size. The Flat Mount caliper eliminates the need for a mounting adapter. Lightweight, two-piston construction to ensure reliable braking performance in all conditions.

CUES 9 and 10-speed Drivetrains for Rim Brakes

The SHIMANO CUES 3000 series for 9 and 10-speed drivetrains offers even more choices for rim brake components with increased reliability and low maintenance. With a low 1:1 ratio, you can handle a variety of situations while SHIMANO CUES maintains your top speed.

Launched last year as entry-level components for MTB, city, and fitness bikes, SHIMANO ESSA is now available in 8-speed for road bikes, which expands and enhances the existing range. Designed to support an active lifestyle, SHIMANO ESSA is an interesting solution of accessible and reliable components that will harmonize an often complex set of entry-level components.

Based on existing HYPERGLIDE technology, ESSA will seamlessly integrate with existing SHIMANO products already in this range, which will make life easier for retailers and riders.
