Elastic Interface, an Italian brand specializing in the production of innovative and durable padding (chamois) for cycling apparel, has launched a new awareness campaign dedicated to cyclist safety on the road.

“Ride at a safe distance, not by instinct”: the message of attention and respect towards cyclists is displayed on a company van which, since January 8, has been traveling the urban roads most frequented by cyclists in the province of Treviso, near the brand’s headquarters.

The initiative, also shared with Paola Gianotti, the Italian brand’s ambassador, aims to raise awareness among motorists and cyclists about the importance of sharing the road safely and respectfully.

In Italy, the topic is still relevant. Indeed, in the first month of 2025 alone, several accidents, including fatal ones, have already occurred. This reminds us how crucial it is to pay attention to all road users, especially those who are most vulnerable.

Elastic Interface emphasizes the importance of a cultural shift in how the road is shared. The law is not enough; all users, cyclists and motorists alike, must respect the highway code and coexist in a civilized manner.
