The Addict RC, launched in November 2024, claimed its first professional victories thanks to Tom Pidcock, who won Stages 2 and 4 of the AlUla Tour, as well as the overall classification for his team, Q36.5 Pro Cycling. Here are the details of his bike.

Weighing in at 5.9 kg, the Addict RC Ultimate marked a major milestone in the world of cycling: the lightest road bike on the market, with race-optimized geometry. Tom Pidcock was able to ride one of the lightest bikes in the peloton, with a 6.8 kg setup, in compliance with UCI rules.
Although the Addict RC boasts an impressive weight, it was designed first and foremost as a race bike: incredibly light and agile, yet stiff and stable for unmatched racing performance. Tom Pidcock, who first tested the Addict RC in January, commented: “From the very first ride, the Addict RC impressed me. It’s light and agile and gives me confidence on descents. That’s what you need in a bike—for it to give you confidence.”
The Perfect Test Track for the Addict RC
As the final climb approached, the course of the second stage of the AlUla Tour proved to be the ideal testing ground for the Addict RC’s lightness and maneuverability. The race was decided in the final kilometer, which had an average gradient of 15%. Pidcock was well-positioned at the start of that final kilometer and launched a blistering attack 500 meters from the finish to claim the victory.

For Stage 4, the riders faced their biggest challenge 11 km from the finish, where the gradients were well into double digits over a 2-km stretch. As the road began to climb at 10% and above, Pidcock led the group, using his Addict RC to set the pace. Over the remaining 8 km, Tom maintained his lead to win the stage and secure a second victory for Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.
This victory gave him a substantial time advantage that the team protected through Stage 5 to win the general classification—a first for Pidcock as an elite rider, and a fantastic achievement for his new team.

Celebrations were shared all around when Italy’s Matteo Moschetti stormed to victory in the Stage 5 sprint. Matteo was well-positioned and reached incredible speeds on his Foil RC to claim the win. After already finishing fourth twice, this was a deeply emotional victory following the Italian’s serious training accident in July 2024.
Race leader Tom Pidcock was relieved after the finish of a final, grueling stage: “I’m a little emotional right now because this is almost like a fairy tale. The way we rode as a team today! I didn’t know these guys until December, or I only met some of them in January. What we’re already accomplishing together and the way we ride together are simply incredible.”

“It’s hard to believe. What a week,” Moschetti said immediately after the finish. “Our goal was to keep Tom safe. In the end, he rewarded us for everything we did for him this week. I have to thank him and the whole team. When UAE launched the sprint, I was very close to the barriers, but I got past them with good speed and overtook Molano in the final meters. What a sprint. Last year, I went through a very difficult time, and I can’t believe it today.”
