The route of the 2025 Dauphiné was presented yesterday. It will take place from June 8 to 15 over 1201.9 km and will feature 36 categorized climbs for a total of 174.3 km of climbing. After a suspenseful 2024 edition that saw Primoz Roglic win ahead of Matteo Jorgenson by only 8 seconds, the 2025 edition once again promises great battles. It should be noted that the race will be Romain Bardet’s last, as he bids farewell to professional cycling.

The general classification should be decided on the Stage 4 Individual Time Trial (17.7 km) between Charmes sur Rhône and Saint Peray, as well as on the queen mountain stage (the seventh) with the formidable sequence of Col de la Madeleine – Col de la Croix de Fer before the finish at the Valmeinier resort (16.7 km at 6.5%). The 132 km of the stage promise to be explosive!
