In 2025, aerodynamics are paramount! Ridley’s aerodynamic engineers started from a blank slate to design the third generation of the Noah Fast. The result is a 100% aerodynamic bike. At a speed of 50 km/h, the Noah Fast is 8.5 watts faster than its predecessor. This underscores Ridley’s commitment to aerodynamics, which is part of its DNA, while continuing its rich heritage!

The new Noah Fast was entirely designed in compliance with the latest UCI regulations on tube shapes and profiles. The major innovation lies in the application of the 8:1 rule, which allows tubes to be eight times longer than wide, compared to a previous 3:1 ratio. This has allowed for long, thin profiles on the fork and chainstays. The large down tube immediately stands out and was specifically designed to channel airflow around water bottles without creating drag. The head tube has been lengthened by taking advantage of the compensation triangles allowed by UCI regulations. These surfaces located behind the head tube and around the seat tube ensure better wind management.
Furthermore, a combination of symmetrical and asymmetrical profiles for the fork and chainstays optimizes aerodynamics. In crosswinds, the airflow follows a convex and elongated surface, thus offering more stability to the rider. In summary, these innovations ensure exceptional aerodynamic efficiency.

Progressive Geometry
Thanks to years of sponsorship in road cycling, Ridley has observed a progressive evolution of rider positions towards a more forward posture. Based on this data, engineers determined that a seat tube angle of 76 degrees corresponds to the median. A steeper seat angle responds to the growing preference of cyclists for a position with an open hip angle, thereby improving power transfer. A lowered bottom bracket shell compensates for the use of wider tires in modern cycling. Finally, the lower head tube, combined with an integrated cockpit, allows the cyclist to adopt a more aggressive aerodynamic position, thus reducing frontal area.
Integrated Cockpit
The Nimbus Aero cockpit was specifically designed for this new model and was developed in parallel with the frame. The objective was to combine aerodynamic performance and comfort. Thanks to this integration, turbulence is reduced compared to a classic setup. The Nimbus Aero cockpit also follows the peloton’s trend towards narrower handlebars (360 mm at the top). From an ergonomic point of view, flared drops ensure balanced handling, while the aerodynamic top section of the handlebar slopes slightly towards the rider, promoting a natural wrist position when resting on the top of the bar. The bends are also designed to naturally orient the shifters inwards. All these features comply with strict UCI regulations regarding control placement.
Holistic Approach
The new Noah Fast is not just an ultra-fast bike, but a true “performance package” that adopts a global approach to cycling. Every aspect of the bike is designed to meet the demands of modern cycling. The cockpit dimensions and geometry are adapted to the expectations of professional cyclists, and 34 mm tire clearance makes it resolutely future-proof. Aerodynamic engineers performed all simulations with the bike as a whole, including wheels, water bottles, bike computers, and other essential accessories – exactly as cyclists use the Noah Fast.

Official Bike of the Uno-X Mobility Team
Starting in 2025, Uno-X Mobility and Ridley are joining forces in an intensive collaboration with a clear objective: to conquer the world of cycling. Both parties share the same values: a constant quest for innovation and improvement, driven by an unwavering passion for racing. Over the past few months, both teams have worked hard behind the scenes to optimally prepare for the new cycling season. Ridley’s rich heritage in developing the fastest bikes, combined with the knowledge and experience of the riders, forms a winning partnership. The Noah Fast is the result. With great ambition, Ridley and the riders are looking forward to the upcoming classics and Grand Tours.
