As the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team launches the 2025 season with a new jersey, SCOTT unveils new bikes for the team. Continuing with the proven Foil RC, the team now adds the all-new Addict RC to its lineup.

For the 2025 season, Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team will race on the all-new Addict RC, alongside the competition-proven Foil RC. The new Addict RC, launched in November 2024, represents a significant step forward in the cycling world. With the Addict RC Ultimate bike launched at 5.9 kg, this new generation of Addict RC offers something completely unique: the lightest performance road bike on the market, with race-specific geometry. Designed for competition at the highest level, the Addict RC is a statement of SCOTT’s commitment to innovation: incredibly light and agile, yet stiff and stable for unparalleled race performance.
The new graphic design of the Addict RC and Foil RC represents the scientific orientation of the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. Under the riders’ new nickname, “Research Scientists“, the bikes feature emblems of the team’s commitment to “moving forward“, inspired by data collection and expeditions. Everything is brought together in a pronounced black and white contrast with flashing blue details, a representation of the team’s values that have always set them apart from the peloton.

The Foil RC is already a favorite, but the Addict RC now joins the top ranks of the riders, who had their first official demonstration of the new design at the 2025 training camp in Calpe. “The new Addict RC is the lightest bike I’ve ridden, and it’s incredible for a climbing bike, considering it’s a disc brake bike with full internal cable routing and an aerodynamic tube shape. It’s still fast on the flats and extremely agile when the road goes up, and reliable on descents,” says David de la Cruz, rider for the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.

Tom Pidcock, the team’s new member, adds: “From the first ride, the Addict RC impressed me. It’s light and agile and gives me confidence on descents. That’s what you need in a bike, that it gives you confidence. I’m really looking forward to using it for the first races.”
The team will also continue to use the Foil RC, one of the fastest bikes in the peloton with its perfect combination of aerodynamics, lightness, and comfort, as well as the aero specialist Plasma RC TT for time trials.
“SCOTT has provided us with the best race bikes, the Foil RC and Plasma RC TT, since the team’s inception. The ability to now also race with the new Addict RC demonstrates SCOTT’s first-class innovation and commitment to performance at the highest level. We are proud to ride the most innovative and complete bike in the professional peloton,” says Doug Ryder, Team General Manager.
“Working with a world-class team and riders is essential to pushing the boundaries of R&D and introducing product innovations like the new Addict RC. Through our partnership with the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, we have the best possible platform to develop, test, and improve the performance of SCOTT’s most race-focused products,” says Reto Aeschbacher, SCOTT Sports Marketing Director.
Helmets, Sunglasses, and Syncros
The Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team will use SCOTT Cadence and Centric helmets, also featuring the new design. The Cadence helmet, launched in 2024, is SCOTT’s fastest race helmet to date. It has undergone rigorous wind tunnel testing to ensure optimal aerodynamics, while maintaining the highest safety and comfort standards. In addition, the team will use the SCOTT Split helmet, SCOTT Performance sunglasses, and Syncros Tofino and Belcarra saddles.
