ELITE announces that all Direto XR and XR-T connected indoor trainers are now compatible with Zwift’s Cog & Click

ELITE had been considering this and has now made it a reality: the Zwift virtual shifting update for the standard Direto XR and Direto XR-T models is now available on Upgrado.

You can now update your firmware in just a few steps and transform an ELITE Direto XR or XR-T indoor trainer into a model that’s fully compatible with Zwift’s Cog and Click for virtual shifting.

When ordering the Zwift Cog and Click upgrade pack, a €20 discount applies when using the following code: ELITEZCOG2024.

After introducing Cog and Click integration with the Direto XR, ELITE is extending it to all standard models. Firmware updates for Justo, Justo 2, and Avanti are expected in early 2025, with updates for Suito, Direto, Direto X, and Direto XR Team coming this spring.

With the latest firmware update on Upgrado, the Direto XR or XR-T “unlocks” virtual gear shifting and is fully compatible with Zwift Cog and Click.

The two-button Zwift Click controller lets you adjust the resistance of your indoor trainer with 24 virtual gears, giving you seamless control over resistance while riding on the platform. Get ready for a smoother, quieter, and more immersive training experience.

Getting started is simple: just remove the cassette and replace it with the Zwift Cog to activate it.
