Designing a new version of an already cutting-edge saddle is always a challenge, and in the case of Dimension, an even more ambitious adventure. But Prologo is accustomed to challenges and the constant pursuit of maximum performance. Meticulous studies of ergonomics and design, combined with continuous research into new materials, have made it possible not only to further innovate an already iconic saddle, but also to create the most performing, comfortable, and lightest Dimension ever: the Dimension R2.
A new multidisciplinary and unisex saddle, with compact dimensions of 245x143mm and a weight of only 135 grams, a 15% reduction compared to the previous model. Designed for professionals and the most demanding amateurs, always looking for the most performing and comfortable components, perfect for road and off-road use.
The Dimension R2 features a completely redesigned front section. The nose width is 40 mm, 30% wider than the previous model, and with a more rounded side profile.
In addition, the central part has been redesigned and features a flat surface, to facilitate an even more advanced and aerodynamic riding position. Innovative design choices studied to further increase saddle comfort, especially during strong pedal strokes.
Material research played a central role in the evolution of the Dimension R2, with the introduction of a new EVA foam that allowed for a 20% reduction in padding thickness, while maintaining the support and comfort that have always distinguished the Dimension family.
The materials chosen for the shell and rail are worthy of a model belonging to Prologo’s high-end saddle range. The base is made of injected Long Fibre Carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort, while the rail is available only in the lightest and most performing Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) version, composed of carbon fibers, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments.
The new Dimension R2 is available in two colors, Anthracite and White, both with new elegant and minimalist graphics, with continuous lines that highlight the new saddle shape.
