Suunto: Race range, mini or maxi?

Released in October 2023, the Suunto Race marked a real technological turning point for the Finnish manufacturer. Designed for those who like to push their limits in sports challenges, the features of Suunto’s first AMOLED screen watch revolve around performance tracking during and beyond activity. In June 2024, the range expanded with the arrival of the Suunto Race S, the compact version of the Race. Now, the Titanium version of the Race S is making its appearance. For these two watches, the Finnish brand relies on AMOLED, integrating it into models with a bold design. Whether day or night, the high-definition touchscreen lights up to make information clear and legible. No more compromising between battery life and the level of detail of the information displayed: with detailed offline maps, trails, contour lines, waterways, cliffs, and other essential landmarks are highlighted. Thanks to the dual-band GNSS system and barometric altimeter, these watches demonstrate unparalleled GPS accuracy. The navigation dial makes it easy to explore menus, features, and maps, whatever the situation.

Beyond sports activity tracking, they offer features that promote an active daily lifestyle. With recovery tracking via HRV, they also allow for the assessment of sleep quality. They provide data on the user’s physical condition and daily activity, such as step count, calories burned, and heart rate. Directly from the app, it is possible to track one’s menstrual cycle and add various sports applications and guides to the watch to enrich and personalize the Suunto experience.
