The 2025 Tour de France will start in the North of France and, three weeks later, will conclude with its traditional finish on the Champs-Elysées in Paris, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first arrival on the world’s most beautiful avenue. After a detour through Normandy and Brittany, the route will turn towards the Massif Central before truly beginning its mountainous escapade in the Pyrenees, notably with a return to Superbagnères, 36 years after the Tour’s last visit to the resort. The riders will then find the Mont Ventoux, where a stage finish has not been held since 2013, before a final confrontation in the Alps, passing over the very difficult Col de la Loze, and a short, nervous stage between Albertville and La Plagne, with 132 km and 4650 m of elevation gain.
