The sport and cycling sector is resolutely pursuing its transition towards a more circular economy. Indeed, a new scheme aimed at extending product lifespan has just been launched: the repair bonus.

Designed to make repair the norm for consumption and use of used products, the “repair bonus” schemes are part of the AGEC law (Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy) through the creation of funds dedicated to financing repairs, particularly for Sports and Leisure Articles (ASL).
What are the benefits for consumers?
- Reduced repair cost: thanks to the bonus, even the most expensive repairs become accessible.
- Extended lifespan for their equipment: by repairing their equipment, consumers help reduce waste and preserve the environment.
- A gesture for the planet: by choosing to repair, consumers participate in a circular and responsible economy.
Which bikes are covered?
- All bikes are covered: from electric cargo or long tail bikes, to classic bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, or even junior bikes.
What is the coverage?
- Consumers receive 15 euros for repairs of 65 euros (incl. tax) or more, or 30 euros for repairs of 120 euros (incl. tax) or more.
How to benefit from the repair bonus?
To benefit from the repair bonus, simply visit a certified Ecologic repairer. The repairer will handle all administrative procedures.
