The new aluminum Avant, an entry-level model in Orbea’s road range, is available in three versions, from €1399 with Shimano Claris 8-speed (Avant H60) to €2099 with Shimano 105 12-speed (Avant H30), including the Avant H40 at €1599 with Shimano Tiagra 10-speed. Seven sizes are available for each model.

Comfort above all
No matter what type of cyclist you are, comfort is paramount. That’s why Orbea has explored every option to improve it in this new generation of the Avant.
With clearance for tires up to 35C (32C with fenders), the Avant rides confidently on the most uneven roads.
Efficient geometry
Geometry was one of the points the brand worked on extensively, as good geometry plays a decisive role in comfort. The steeper seat angle and longer top tube place the rider in an ideal position to attack climbs.
Orbea also focused on confidence on descents, by opening the head angle and increasing the wheelbase to achieve better stability at high speeds. In addition, a fork offset specific to each frame size ensures optimal handling for all riders.
The Avant is still offered with an OMR carbon fork, which reduces weight and absorbs vibrations without compromising stiffness during braking or cornering.
Advanced aluminum with a carbon aesthetic
The Avant is a high-performance aluminum road bike thanks to advanced manufacturing and clever features.
Every weld on the main frame is carefully polished to mimic the aesthetic of a carbon frame. Furthermore, by controlling the shapes and wall thicknesses of the aluminum tubes, Orbea offers a light yet robust bike, with enough flexibility for optimal comfort without compromising efficiency.
ICR+
Cable integration is standard on all Orbea road bikes, with one of the most harmonious internal routings currently available. The system is optimized for both mechanical and electronic drivetrains.
The forged bottom bracket shell allows Orbea to route cables inside the frame. This protects them and provides the most direct path to reduce friction.
Features
The Avant integrates many practical solutions to simplify every ride. For example, the mounting points adapt to all standard fenders on the market and a selection of fenders available via the MyO configurator.
The new Avant is equipped with Orbea’s Service Box solution. Leave the saddle bag at home thanks to this custom toolbox. It allows you to store essentials such as an inner tube, CO2 cartridges, tire levers, or even house keys.
Customization
Find the ideal setup with Orbea’s MyO configurator. Thanks to the different handlebar, stem, and crank options, every cyclist can find their optimal position.
Choose between a -5º and +15º angle and several lengths to find the ideal position. The RP 22 stem is compatible with mechanical or electronic shifting systems and features an integrated bike computer mount.
