Enve Launches New Gravel Tire: The Hex

ENVE launches the Hex Gravel tire, now available in 40 and 44 mm widths. The HEX is designed for versatile performance, with good rolling efficiency, thanks to a unique hexagonal tread block that can flex and adapt to the terrain to provide handling and confidence in various conditions.

The new ENVE Hex offers the following features:

A protection strip at the tire bead for better pinch flat protection
A protection belt under the tread limits the risk of punctures without reducing rolling efficiency or ride quality
Kevlar bead optimized for hookless rims
Doubling the sidewall tread increases cornering traction and reduces tears
Side knobs of different sizes and heights angled outwards to articulate the tread blocks that increase cornering traction
Decoupled tread blocks allow the casing to flex and adapt to the terrain, maximizing traction and rolling performance
The hexagonal block shape allows for a flexible pattern in all three directions to add suppleness to the casing to adapt to varied surfaces
A “cat’s tongue” tread provides both driving and braking traction
