A Prologo Nago R4 Tadej Pogacar Special Edition Saddle

Prologo celebrates Tadej Pogačar’s Grand Tour victories with two special edition saddles, also offering the public the models that accompanied the Slovenian champion during his triumphs in the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France.

The Nago R4 147 is the saddle model Pogačar chose to use starting in autumn 2023, making his race debut with a first victory at Il Lombardia.

During the 2024 season, Tadej rode the Nago R4 147 to victory in two more Classics, Strade Bianche and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, as well as the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, before winning the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France.

Two Grand Tours, two great successes in the same year for the Slovenian champion, who achieved a historic double not seen in 26 years, since Marco Pantani in 1998.

Exclusive Design

The exclusive designs of these two versions faithfully reproduce the graphics of the two saddles that accompanied Tadej during the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France.

The saddle bases feature the Pink and Yellow of the jerseys won by the great champion and are adorned on one side with his monogram with the initials “TP” and on the other side with Prologo’s “Big Ó”, a distinctive brand mark exclusively present on saddles used by the teams and athletes it supports.

At the center of the graphic, the Slovenian flag stands out, along with a list of the major victories Tadej has achieved during his brilliant career with Prologo: Giro d’Italia, Tour de France, Tour of Flanders, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Il Lombardia, Strade Bianche, Amstel Gold Race, La Flèche Wallonne, Tirreno Adriatico, and Paris-Nice.

Both special editions come in an elegant black cardboard box with a festive pink and yellow band.

The Nago R4 147 was designed based on the needs of Prologo’s supported professional teams, and refined through “Pressure Map MyOwn” tests, to meet the needs of all cyclists seeking maximum performance and comfort even on long rides.

Compact size with a length of 245 mm and T-shape, with a slightly advanced anatomical center, to offer good freedom of movement in the saddle and maximize pedaling efficiency in all positions. The semi-round ergonomic shape also makes the new NAGO R4 147 ideal for cyclists with average pelvic rotation flexibility.

The closed NAGO R4 147 saddle consists of 3 separate and totally independent sections, made of latest-generation variable-density foams, to ensure excellent support and optimal comfort during all pedaling phases. Under the central section is Prologo’s Active Base system: a base perforated in the center to combine the advantages of a closed saddle with a larger support surface with the advantages of an open shell.

The shell is made of long-fiber carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort. The Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) rail is made of carbon fibers, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments, ideal for performance-oriented cyclists seeking maximum stiffness and lightness.
