Composite shell
The shell of the Giant Grit SLR and SL saddles is ultralight and manufactured using an eco-friendly process that incorporates recycled carbon fiber and polyamide 11, a bio-based plastic that offers high strength without compromising durability or lightness.
Lightweight Reflective Padding
The Grit SLR saddle uses high-density EVA foam that is both lightweight and durable. It also provides optimal cushioning by returning to its original shape after being compressed and effectively absorbs vibrations caused by uneven terrain.
Comfort and Lightweight Design
By combining lightweight, responsive padding, inserts featuring mobile particles using Particle Flow technology, and an ergonomic central cutout, the Grit SLR saddle offers exceptional support and optimal cushioning for the sit bones. Furthermore, the saddle’s design reduces pressure on the perineum, improving comfort during long rides. And all of this is packed into a saddle weighing just 160 grams.
Maximum Efficiency
The streamlined shape of the Grit saddle maximizes freedom of movement by reducing friction. The shorter nose and crown-shaped rear construction, combined with lightweight padding on a rigid composite base made of nylon and recycled carbon, provide maximum support.
