Vuelta 2024: the route, stage maps and profiles, the start list, and TV broadcast times for the 79th Tour of Spain

The 79th edition of the Tour of Spain will take place from Saturday, August 17 to Sunday, September 8, 2024, over 21 stages and a total distance of 3,265 km. Once again, mountain stages will feature prominently, with nine summit finishes planned. After a start in Lisbon, Portugal, with a 12 km individual time trial, the race will face its first major difficulties on the heights of Pico Villuercas in Extremadura, before heading towards Andalusia. But it is only from the second week of racing that the summit finishes will follow one another, first in Asturias at the top of Cuitu Negru then at the Lakes of Covadonga, before three epic final days with finishes at the summits of Alto de Moncalvillo and Picon Blanco, and before a final 22 km individual time trial in Madrid on September 8. To follow the race closely, find the maps, profiles, and TV broadcast schedules for the 79th edition of the Tour of Spain.
