Miguel Induráin returns to the Pinarello family

Cycling legend Miguel Induráin is back in the Pinarello fold after a short break. The five-time Tour de France winner marked his return with the iconic Italian brand by riding a custom Dogma F at the Maratona dles Dolomites.

Induráin and Fausto Pinarello worked together on a unique model, in a luxurious red color, which the Spaniard picked up in person at Pinarello’s headquarters in Treviso, before participating in the Maratona dles Dolomites.

The new Pinarello Dogma F was launched on June 20 and combines incredible performance and cutting-edge technology with stunning aesthetic beauty.

Pinarello President Fausto Pinarello said: “I am delighted to welcome Miguel back into the Pinarello family as he is the cyclist with whom I feel the deepest connection. Our friendship has lasted for over 30 years and he is an integral part of Pinarello’s history; his incredible performances have helped us grow to become the brand we are today. It was a moment of great pride to see him riding our new Dogma F and we look forward to this new phase of our partnership.”

The stories of Pinarello and Induráin are closely linked. The Spaniard dominated cycling in the 90s, exclusively on Pinarello bikes. In addition to winning five consecutive Tour de France titles, Miguel also won two Giros d’Italia, two World Championships, and broke the Hour Record on the iconic Espada.
