More comfortable, more efficient: introducing the DMT KR4 and KR4PJ road shoes

Research, innovation, attention to detail, and a commitment to achieving the best results while maintaining a strong identity rooted in tradition: DMT embodies all these qualities and more, striving for technical and aesthetic perfection in every product and shoe. The 2024 entry-level road range features the updated and even higher-performing DMT KR4 and the brand-new DMT KR4PJ.

The KR4, available in white or black, features an open mesh fabric upper, crucial for air circulation. This fabric, called “mesh,” is entirely designed to ensure breathability and lightness during cycling. The mesh allows optimal airflow, keeping feet cool and dry even during the most intense training sessions. The upper’s structure is also durable and flexible, offering lasting comfort and a precise fit.

The closure system uses the BOA L6, whose technology guarantees greater micro-adjustment, increased durability, and lightness, thanks to its specialized cables. The KR4 also features a ventilated nylon sole with 8-millimeter adjustable eyelets and a replaceable heel pad.

The KR4PJ mirrors the characteristics of the KR4 and includes a microfiber tongue designed to make the shoes easy to put on, even for those with a high arch. Thanks to its lightweight and flexible structure, the tongue comfortably wraps around the foot, providing a precise and comfortable fit. The microfibers reduce friction and offer a cool sensation. However, unlike the KR4, the KR4PJ is aimed at those who prefer laces, with a lace-locking system that ensures comfort and breathability.

All DMT road shoes are designed and developed in close consultation with some of the world’s best professional riders. With DMT, Tadej Pogacar has won two Tours de France, one Giro d’Italia, three Il Lombardia, two Liège-Bastogne-Liège, two Strade Bianche, one Tour of Flanders, and many other races. Elia Viviani is one of the brand’s long-standing ambassadors, while new talents like Juan Ayuso and Joshua Tarling, who became European Time Trial Champion at just 19, are also making their mark.

The KR4 and KR4PJ will be available to the public in stores starting July 15.
