This year, the Granfondo will start on June 30th from Cuneo, Italy. It is already considered “The Event” of northwestern Italy. France is the guest nation for this 2024 edition: indeed, this year marks the 60th anniversary of the Cuneo-Nice twinning, and a delegation from Nice is expected and will be present at the Expo Village in Cuneo during the event weekend.
An edition full of new features and mindful of the environment, social issues, and sport in general.
Among the new features for 2024 is the new Fauniera Classic route (101 km and 2,187 meters of elevation gain). The introduction of this spectacular third route allows those who cannot do the granfondo or mediofondo to appreciate the splendor of these mountains, which are among the most beautiful in the Alpine part of northwestern Italy.
Many parallel events are also planned: three full days dedicated to cycling and sports, with the participation of many Olympic athletes from the region.
The 2024 edition of La Fausto Coppi Officine Mattio International Granfondo is undoubtedly an event not to be missed.
