The investigation reveals that Giovambattista Iera was not the driver of the vehicle, but the passenger. According to the Beauvais public prosecutor’s office, Iera has been cleared of aggravated assault, unlike the driver of the van, who has been summoned to appear before the Beauvais criminal court on January 8, 2025. However, according to the Courrier Picard, the preliminary investigation into alleged fraud, attributed to Giovambattista Iera, is ongoing.
