Continental is launching the ContiTPU, a cutting-edge addition to Continental’s line of high-quality inner tubes designed for performance-oriented cyclists who value space in their pockets or bike bags. Continental has developed a lightweight, durable, premium-quality product suitable for road and off-road cyclists.
Continental has utilized the highest grade of micrometer-thick TPU in seven sealed layers to maximize airtightness and durability. The tubes are uncolored to ensure the highest material quality and prevent air retention issues caused by surface imperfections associated with dyes. Each ContiTPU tube undergoes rigorous post-production quality control.
The base is slightly tapered to improve the fit on the rim and reduce unwanted movement, while the valve has internal threads to allow for the use of valve extensions or a replacement valve.
Every ContiTPU inner tube, including the raw materials, is manufactured in Germany. A repair patch is also included with each pack.
