Introducing Tadej Pogacar’s New DMT Shoes: His Allies for the Giro

For the 2024 Giro d'Italia, Tadej Pogacar will be wearing new DMT shoes. With a revamped design that’s even more high-performance and futuristic, these shoes are geared toward a common goal: claiming the pink jersey.

DMT’s innovation, technology, and expertise come together in Tadej’s new “wings,” featuring an ultra-lightweight carbon sole, an integrated AeroSafe pocket for secure and compact lace storage, and a breathable AeroFlex upper that, thanks to DMT’s exclusive knitting technology, offers an optimal blend of aerodynamics and durability. In addition, the shoe features the Flex Fit collar for flexibility, integrated 3D channels, and lace retention pulleys that ensure better support and stability for the foot while pedaling.

It’s worth noting that DMT’s Ice-Key technology enables immediate identification in the event of a crash or accident, supplemented by personal and medical information.

The Slovenian rider from UAE Team Emirates started the season in top form, winning Strade Bianche with a superb 80-km solo breakaway, finishing on the podium at Milan-Sanremo, and then dominating the Tour of Catalonia with an overall victory and four stage wins. His latest triumph came just a few days ago: a solo breakaway that secured his second victory at Liège–Bastogne–Liège. After winning the Tour de France twice, in 2020 and 2021, Pogacar is now setting his sights on one of the few races missing from his palmares: the Giro, which he will attempt to win in his first appearance.
