Pas Normal Studios and Fizik extend their collaboration with an all-new road shoe

Danish brand Pas Normal Studios and Fizik, the Italian brand known for their innovative and high-performance cycling shoes and saddles, have unveiled their latest collaboration – Mechanism PNS x Fizik – a new road cycling shoe born exclusively from the partnership.

Designed to perform at the highest level and integrate the elegant style of the Danish apparel brand, the all-new Mechanism road shoe meets the demands of road cyclists.

Improve performance

The upper uses a durable polyurethane laminated material combined with comfortable mesh, resulting in improved power transfer and providing lasting foot support where it’s most needed. The BOA® Fit System, featuring the Dual-Dial Li2, allows for bidirectional and differentiated adjustments for the instep and forefoot areas.

Born to power the pedals

At its core, Fizik’s R2 outsole features a carbon fiber structure that saves weight and offers increased stiffness, with a stiffness index of 10, making this outsole the stiffest in Fizik’s range. A wide ventilation inlet and internal channels ensure airflow, facilitating temperature regulation during rides. Cleat positioning is slightly more set back than traditional adjustments to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression, particularly suited for the aggressive forward aerodynamic positions adopted by racers.
