Fizik unveils the next generation of its popular Powerstrap Aeroweave, road racing shoes that are the lightest and most breathable in its range. Composed of a durable, airy mesh-like upper and the stiffest carbon outsole, this model is ideal for riders who like to ride fast, whether on the smoothest asphalt or the most demanding cobblestones.

In their quest to reduce weight and increase ventilation while maintaining support and protection, fizik designers and engineers developed a brand new material: Aeroweave.

This cutting-edge woven fabric intertwines nylon fibers with thermoplastic polymer filaments to produce an even lighter shoe that doesn’t compromise its original durability, offering the strength and support required for elite competitions.

Customized Fit and Compression

While most Velcro closures simply bring the two sides of a shoe’s upper closer together, the Powerstrap Aeroweave incorporates a ribbon that wraps around the foot, providing an ultra-secure fit using only two straps. The instep and midfoot are individually adjustable to allow for a customized fit and compression, and with this latest version, the straps have been streamlined to make them both lighter and stronger.

Maximum Power Transfer

The Powerstrap Aeroweave features an all-new R3 outsole that has been produced with an updated carbon fiber layout and design to save weight without compromising stiffness. With a rating of 10, the shoe offers maximum power transfer, and temperature regulation has also been improved by two large ventilation inlets and deep internal channels that produce a cooling airflow. As with all the latest Fizik shoe models, the R3 outsole offers recessed cleat positioning to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression, and is perfectly suited for cyclists who prefer more aggressive aerodynamic positions.
